I was in my 20's when the show came on and I wasn't very interested in it, unlike some other cartoons I watched back in the 90's like The Powerpuff Girls, Ren and Stimpy and even Rugrats.

Yes, and even now I sometimes do.

It used to be on children's TV after school and I used to look forward to watching it, along with Playdays, Chucklevision, Bodger And Badger, Grange Hill and Rugrats.

It was one of my favourite shows. I never knew what type of animal he was until I found out on the Internet one day. I thought he was either a bear, dog or pig. He looks nothing like an aardvark, which he is supposed to be.

Not when I was little but when I was, I think, quite well into my teens and I loved it - btw, do you know that Mr. Rathburn came out as gay, marrying another man in one episode?

If you're referring to the cartoon with the aardvark, then yes. I remember it occurring to me as a kid that when I first started watching the show, the titular character, being portrayed as an eight year-old, was older than me, and by the time I finished watching the show, I was older than the titular character.

Yeah, I did. It was one of those shows that was shown at 5 pm every weekday. I think this one was out on... Mondays?
