What I HAVE heard are some rather mind bending things.

Weird Al Yankovic doing a medley of all of the hits by the rolling stones done polka style.

There is active thread with a video of a German band doing a semi polka version of Gun'sn Roses' "Sweet Child of Mind" (quite awesomely).

REM's "Losing My Religion" as a Middle Ages Gregorian chant sung by "monks" with the acoustics of stone monestary.
