Yes. It was especially magical when I was growing up. Some of my favorite Christmas albums (records) were:
Santa Claus Is Coming to Town (Peter Pan Records)
Happy Holi-Dee (Lenny Dee organist, 1961)
Christmas with Danny Davis and the Nashville Brass (1970)
Holiday Sing Along with Mitch Miller (1961)

I love Christmas music. It's my favourite type of music. I call it Sweet Pea music.

Instrumentals? Yes.

An acapella choir singing JSB's cantata Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben? Maybe.

Dogs barking the tune to "Jingle Bells"? That's time to break out the Black Sabbath albums!

Christmas music makes me anxious--mostly because the songs get stuck in my head for days on end. I can't listen to really catchy music in general or I risk getting in an earworm loop for days (it actually keeps me awake at night). Additionally, I'm just not a huge fan of the holiday or its music/carols.

I'm in agreement with Fnord that instrumentals are the better route in this case. <3

Sure, if the song is good.
I don't have any problem with the ridiculous children's christmas songs either if I'm in that kind of mood. Christmas songs are also the only songs where I don't mind the lyrics being about god, Jesus, Mary etc. since that stuff's kind of been part of the celebration for so long.

Even listening to the entire Enya portfolio is better than a month's worth of "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus"!

Then again, there is always …

^ That's actually pretty good. :D

"I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus" is also okay if it comes from the radio from time to time among other Christmas songs, but I certainly wouldn't want to listen it on a loop.
