I like to read. I'm just not very good at it. I am painfully slow, and my eyes don't seem to track the written word very well. I also drift regularly, am easily distracted by the Internet or food or cats, whatever. I can spend a whole day kind of reading, and have gone through thirty pages

On my IQ tests my Coding of Digits and symbols was below 10.

Do any of y'all have problems reading?

Also don't pay attention to IQ tests. They're extremely archaic.

In my case, it's unsure. I have issues with words in general than something specific...

In terms of reading, it could be reading comprehension because of slow processing or bad working memory. I'd get different interpretations when I get to read something few times after.

All I can say is that I can skim through English texts.
Perhaps my head is too used to it, that sometimes my mind and eyes goes all over the place.

But I can't do that with my written native language. It's not the same. My mind and eyes tend to lock at every syllable...
Either I get tired and give up, or focus all the way through.

I read fairly quickly, if the subject matter is interesting. If I'm bored virtually any subject matter will be interesting to read.

Yes. I love reading and I love books. I used to have a bookshelf but ended up donating them all because I move a lot and they're heavy. But I have trouble focusing and tend to re-read lines a lot, and will also keep stopping to look things up, words I don't know the definition to or references to events and people I'm not familiar with (I mainly read non-fiction). So it takes me a long time to just get through one book. I tried audio books while driving but I just zone out.

I'm bad at reading out loud, but that's probably just because I lack practice. I can read quietly just fine, but if what I'm reading is boring, I easily lose focus.
