We Can't Blame The Past For What We Believe Was Wrong.
We can not blame people in the past for the decisions they made because we were not them and we did not live in the circumstances that they lived in.
Rightly or wrongly they had decisions to make, and not making decisions would likely be an even worse outcome.... So whatever decision it was at the time, they hold the responsibility for it before God.
Our lives are in the today and the now. We have our own decisions to make. We do not know if future generations will be criticizing us for the decisions we make now. We also do not know for sure the long term outcomes of our decisions. All we can do is the best that we can and make our decisions on the evidence and circumstances that we find ourselves in. To not make decisions means we may get no where, so we may as well make decisions now. Put it this way. Wrong decisions can be just as important as right ones as we learn through our mistakes, so we may as well try either way. Aim for what we percieve to be right at the time and see what happens!
