Thanks Jainaday, (gosh I don't know about this hero biz???). Since I sailed to Florida from Seattle I only have time to do some advising when I'm not traveling on my boat. I was heavily involved with production. We produced Lyrical, Modern, Jazz and of course Modern and Classical Ballet, some Ballinchine. I also produced liturgical dance which I marketed to churches and Yuppie (as in Microsoft $$$) weddings. This was our biggest source of money. My company was about 40 girls (13-30yo) including apprentices.
When I took over the company the girls were running car washes to get $100; when I left they were dancing at the Crystal Cathedral for $10,000; I’m real pleased that I helped them, real pleased.
I love the kinetic-aesthetic genius of dancers, they are flakey, but I love them.
