Every photo I've tried, even if it is exactly what they ask for size/contrast/brightness/type of shot/etc-wise, results in an error.

I've tried that thing and for each of my photos it gave me dark hair, but I have blonde hair. :?

i'd like to be simpsonized exept i really dont want anything to do with adobe. messes up my computer everytime i download any of its programs :?

The Simpsonizeme option only offers an empty blue page for me, no matter what browser I go there with.

The only thing left for me was the avatar creator that Juliekitty mentioned.

Not much of a likeness. I don’t really have a beard, but that’s the only choice which includes a thin moustache. There also wasn’t an option for sandals, even though some of the Simpsons characters wear them.
