What have you done, that you told yourself you would never do?

I told myself I would never give to a homeless beggar on the street but then I did.

I told myself that I would never intentionally hurt my first girlfriend but I got frustrated with her behavior & various things within our relationship & some of which was outside her control. I had a mental breakdown & took things out on her & intentionally made her worry about me & I blamed her for things  I haven't really told myself I would never do anything else because I didn't have a reason to & things happen that I cant predict. I don't trust many others but I also don't fully trust myself.

I never thought I'd get involved with any sort of organized sport as an adult.

Then I did and it's been a rather positive experience that I'm grateful for.
