Do you have any of your own alternatives for swearing

Do you make them up yourself or are they "hand me downs" from parents etc etc

My favourite is "duck egg". I use this to replace "dickhead"

Not really but in my language we have this one idiom for swearing - it's "throwing meat". When you throw meat, it means you swear, use curse words.

Bull corn, dagburnit, dagblameit, fricking,
bless your heart, bless your pointed little head, idgit, stick it where the sun don’t shine, and Jesus jumped up  All hand me downs from the old folks. The actual swearing is even more colorful.
Here it’s called wooden swearing and the church people still get offended.

 love it

I love "dang!"

It makes me smile every time I hear it

I say it sometimes even though people don't really say it over here

My physics teacher from high school always used to say: 'hen face" and it was a curse coined by himself because there is no such a curse in Polish :D

Eh.
My alternative curse words are likely hand me downs. And it's not exclusively from my parents.

They're not in English.
And most people from.my region would likely know what it meant.

But sure -- English. It's be saying "frick" it.

I think the proper swear words work better and have no need for alternatives.

I have a problem with impulsive swearing

It's a massive problem because I don't in job interviews, in the workplace and just generally anywhere where it's inappropriate and it makes me come off as aggressive and stuff

So over time I'm learning to change the words

It's working as well

I try not to swear if I can help it but lately I've been really frustrated at the smallest thing and ive been saying the F word and its alternatives a lot. normally i would say frigg or darn.
