in truth these words are for you, babybird

How are you mate? I've been so worried for you, you are such a bright lovely presence it reaches right through the screen, it makes such a difference, you have been so much missed here even by newbies like me

All the fruits of the season to you, tidings of comfort and joy to you, a happy Christmas and a peaceful 2026 to you

Very sincere thanks for lovely Christmas message.

Very sincere apologies for very foolish worry on my part.

Thanks for the kind words bb.

Got a bottle of Baileys in the cupboard and some christmas cards to send. Just need some mince pies and a turkey dinner ready meal and I'm sorted.

I'm just gonna have a load of roasted potatoes and gravy for my Christmas dinner this year

Its just what I fancy really and I can't be arsed cooking when there's loads of chocolates to eat and telly to watch

Oh and I might have a couple of Aunt Bessie's Yorkshire puddings as well

Speaking of puddings, I don't think those are too popular in Poland  Btw, once back in college I entered some school competition and there was a question about the Spotted Dick - but I had read Adrian Mole's diary and knew it's "a sort of pudding" as I answered  Although in all honesty, it does sound to me like something you get when you have contracted syphilis

Yesterday we, Poles, celebrated the Saint Nicholas Day - it's the day when children (not only children but mostly them) get presents :)
