Know what I hope?

At the risk of sounding like Rush Limbaugh here, I hope that if we in the US need some kind of assistance with something, we send their troops to south-central LA. See how they like IEDs thrown at their vehicles.

Oh, wait. We can't. We have a civilized, functional law-enforcement system. If someone shrows so much as a rock at a car, they'll find you. But those goddamn bastard thugs in Iraq can throw explosive s**t at our humvees and get away with it.

I say bring some of their "peacekeepers" to souf-sentra.

Indeed, Iraq had a police/security force but when the Baath party was eliminated the government no longer could function and now it was up to the occupying force to be that police force.

We are lucky in the US and the developed world to have security, I could not imagine living in a nation where car bombs were commonplace.

When a nation is conqured and infrastructure distroyed what results is chaos and lawlessness, and what sucks in Iraq is because so many their hate us, and their are so many 'rules' governing what the US military can do as far as suspects its rediculous. If a combat situation were to arise then the rules of engadgement apply, they cant fire unless fired upon first. However, in many cases if they witness someone planting bombs, that is engadgement if I am correct and they can be captured or killed. If however its just suspision, they cant simply hunt them down and arrest them, but the US military needs permission from the government to capture them, its quite rediculous, it hampers the US military from being able to do their jobs and makes me sick because it could save lives if they could just get um.

Trying to dress up war in a cloak of morality is paradoxical to the nature of war itself. Though, we like to do it anyway so the war seems more justified in the context of contemporary morality. It does leads to odd situations such as you have all described.

I just think we do not want to be seen as "barbaric". Modern media can make or break your war.

I am so sorry on the behalf of the Iraqi people that you are dissatisfied with your welcome to Iraq.

You were promised flowers and all you have recieved are bombs! What do you expect after bombing our schools, universitys, factories, water treatment plants and power plants. Not to mention churches, mosques and people for 12 years under illegal and murderous sanctions you killed through starvation and disease and denied us medicines.

You murdered 2 millions including half a million children under 5 years old in 12 years.

Then during the invasion wherein you destroyed nearly all manufacturing, education and health services and destroyed and looted priceless ancient heritage and you murdered 1 millions to add to your other 2 millions.

I can assure you that the Iraqi people will continue to welcome you in the manner that you are now used to untill your murderous vermin leave that land.

Iraqi resistance will crush your soldiers skulls and destroy your empire at the gates of Babylon and Baghdad!! !

Do not believe your own propoganda or you will be as stupid as hitlers population or the North Koreans you gullible and very arrogant people.

Don't act like an idiot. There are Iraqis killing Iraqis. Sunni vs Shia. No conspiracy, just civil war over beliefs. The Coalition forces are there to try to KEEP THE PEACE. Do you think that mercenaries would carry out suicide bombings?

Never call British forces cowardly. They are underfunded and abused by the British government.
