t listening/reading?

I was in the Myst commuity years ago... I had several accounts, which was blown up into a big thing by the mods, who kept an eye on me or a long time after I stopped doing it... they talked and talked and gossiped about members in the private forums... I was curious so once I found a back door into the private forums where they had blown up my 6 accounts into an international incident! I couldn't resist... I had to see what they would write about me after I showed them that I hacked (or rather, "hacked") their forums! So I posteda link to them and tons of people were fascinated, because they knew that these admins and mods who had no life would take this very seriously... WOW, did they EVER! When I guessed the password of a moderator to see what they'd written about me one of them called me a scary person (the lady who was making most of a big deal), one of them called me an idiot, one of them said should go to jail, stuff like that. WOW!

The mod whose account I hacked also owned a Myst board of her own, and I took the board offline and advertised in the online message that her board had been hacked, then I advertised to her privately (I still had a conscience  ) that she needed to change all her passwords... I read in one of her PMs more blown -out-of-proportions stuff said about me, like how I joked about one of the admins dying and he took offence, and I joked about another one of them who had a 10-year-old daughter that the kid might hate her if she kept dragging her to conventions to be around wierd people, and she really really took it seriously... the mod was so embarrassed that she changed her passwords, didnt' tell anyone and two other mods on her site left because they were traumatized by what I did. Then I guessed the password of another admin and read even MORE blown-up opinions of me... wow, I was Public Enemy #1! I was banned from the whole Myst community eventually! When I crashed their convention... well, that's another story!

Many things. They presumed that I was ret*d. They made comments about my accent. They've said that I've had a sex change. They said that I was cute. They've also said that I'm a walking encyclopedia. I've been called many things by many people who thought that I wasn't listening.

My sister has told other people that she thinks I exaggerate my problems for attention (when in fact that's the kind of thing she always does). I mean, people act like that's not a very hurtful statement and I should just let it go... But it really hurt me badly, because she's my sister and she's supposed to be my friend, not my enemy.

Spamming? I personally think not. Ana54 topics create interest (look at how many replies each of those many threads has gathered) It's the members that make a board what it is. It isn't very decent to try & squash someone else's confidence..

Didn't you make a big deal about someone supposedly hacking your account?

There's a difference between simply "overhearing" something and invading someone's privacy. It doesn't make what some of them said "okay," but it is absurd that you would feel like a victim after breaking into someone's account.

When I was 11 or 12 I was on a church retreat, and I was outside holding the homeless kitty I had befriended and singing to him. I also had made friends with 2 homeless dogs that were hanging out with me. Everyone was inside playing a game, and someone asked where I was. A girl replied, "She's outside with her friends...her only friends," (referring to the animals). I guess they thought I couldn't hear them but I have amazing hearing (along with auditory processing disorder) so I heard them even though I was outside. That was the first time I really realized there was something seriously different about me.

Hey, what can I say? Animals make better friends.

I'd rather not know what people say about me when I'm not around... I'm guessing it's not that favourable sometimes...

Kittenfluffies,

While my pets aren't my only friends, they are my best friends. Animals are very special. Right now, my Siamese, Prince, is sitting on my lap, purring. It is such a comforting sound.

I enjoy Anna's topics. There's always something interesting to respond to. She's just trying to get to know everyone better. :)

i have been called ret*d both behind my back and to my face. It seems to be the phrase that comes up a lot when u don't fit in.

I have also been called a lot of other things and told to stop exaggerating negatives when i was not. this must happen to lots of peeps.

A lot of teachers at elementary school thought that I was either lazy or stupid. Some of my friends told me already in pre-school that I was intelligent and knew a lot, even though I was clearly different.

The thing that stood out the most:
Some people were talking, I was nearby, out of the conversation floats the phrase
"Noone likes Rachel," followed by laughter from everyone.
I was crushed.
