I spend a lot of time on my laptop, and it is very dirty- especially the key board. No more eating brownies and IMing at the same time for me. Anyway, does anyone know how to do that? I have no idea. *shrug*

You can try taking the casing off if anything actually got in your computer somehow.. Otherwise, a cloth or unused toothbrush with something similar to windex should do the trick.

I always used a thin paintbrush for mine. Gets in between the keys nicely.

computer wipes,and tin of air for blowing out bits that are stuck under the keys.


wipes and air are what am use-not a fan of tinned air for noise reasons,so get dad to do that part,use wet computer wipes to wipe down it all including lid,and dry wipes to dry it off,haven't had to buy own yet as use his.

vaccum cleaner will sort it out

my laptop needs to be reformated, or something. it crashed awile back and is pretty messed up. i'll take it to back to office max if i can ever be arsed

dry brush, a damp wipe, damp being barely wet, for one drop running down a key can do real damage. Turn it upside down and shake it. Most laptops have one piece that pops out, letting the keyboard be removed. Check for disassembly diagrams on line.

Dry brush for the inside, compressed air in a can. Being charged they do collect dust, so a good cleaning helps. Opening the case is more than most should deal with, it gets tricky. Do blow out your CD drive, they sound cute., but Dust Bunnies are killers!

Brownies are a crutch, learn to type without them.

Just stick it in your dishwasher
