I've only experienced that once, as a young child. My mother told me not to be a spoilt brat (I had more than enough toys to keep me entertained) and that the only people who ever got bored were boring people.

The message stuck, I never had trouble finding something interesting to do after that, haha. I don't think it would have been an issue anyway though really, as my mind/internal babble never shuts up, lol.
