If you had an animal daemon like in The Golden Compass what would it be? For myself? I don't know yet. The thought just occurred to me. God forbid I should get ready for work.

A turtle
(preferably a red-eared slider)

Because turtles are (IMO) the most wonderful animals that exist, and because I so relate to their shelled existence and their ability to retract into themselves, even if my version is mentally rather then physically.

Also none of us are made for running!
