Thought I'd type this thread here instead of Music discussion. There's more reply's

The questions is are What do you think of The Beatles

Reason yesterday I brought The Beatles Anthology 1 & 2 I am buying 3 tomorrow as I get paid tomorrow. The album is really good it's all mainly the demo recordings of their songs and some blooper recordings as well it is really good.

They are my favorite group. I am only 43, but I tend to like music from the 1960s.

I've been a fan since I can remember.
I like a lot of 60s and 70s music.
Well being 40, how can I not.

I was particularly obsessed with them when I was in my early teens...they were my MAJOR obsession for a couple of years...

When I was little, there was an AM station that played nothing but the Beatles...

I do remember when John Lennon was shot..i was 5

When I was really little, I recall crawling around on the ground listening for a really long time to the end of the Sgt. Peppers album where the needle gets stuck in the groove and goes round and round in circles...

I have been somehow affected by the Beatles since infancy.
my mom is one of those folks who think Paul was replaced by an impostor and the real Paul is dead.

um...sometimes I like to play Beatles songs on the Ukulele

It is difficult to think of the Beatles as a group now with John Lennon and George Harrison gone...and no one seems to hear any
thing much about Ringo anymore. John Lennon had a beautiful farm in Upstate New York, tucked away in the Catskill Mountains
south of Cooperstown, New York., not far from my home...I think he was the most talented of the group.

The 1960s certainly brought out the best musicians...and much of it was due to that great old guy, Ed Sullivan.

I used to not think very much of the Beatles, but they've grown on me. I appreciate most of their music and really enjoy listening to some of their songs, including Eight Days a Week, Revolution, Hey Jude, Let It Be, Yellow Submarine, All Together Now, Twist and Shout, and Magical Mystery Tour. I once saw a "tribute band" perform and they did a great job.

Has anyone else crossed Abbey Road? I did.

I can still sit down, put on The White Album, and listen to each song, utterly amazed ! !
Where did they come up with that ?? And that ?? AND THAT???

I went to Wiki once, looked up Revolution #9, and found some website where a bloke went through the song literally second by second ! !! He would say this bit is some classic music played backwards for 3.2 seconds, and so on ... This bit is John reciting such and such ....

They were geniuses, they honestly were ...

Take this brother, may it serve you well. The twist. The Watusi. El Dorado. If you should become naked."
