--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello,

I'm on holidays at the moment in Europe so I won't be posting on WrongPlanet for 3 weeks.

However I will be checking my PM's everyday to send and read messages from AussieBoy.

If anyone needs to contact me, send me a PM.

IceB will be posting in the Friendship section regarding the London meet-up on 26th January.

Portugal is very beautiful.

Helen

By the way, the airline has lost my luggage!

Lucky my friend and I are the same size so I have been borrowing her clothes. Luckily I had a spare set of underwear in my hand luggage.

Apparently if they don't find my luggage, I am entitled to compensation of up to 4000 Euros. So if they dont' find it, at least I'll have fun shopping for new clothes!

Wow! That is incredibly beautiful. I'd love to be there. I hope you enjoy your stay.

(and that they find your luggage! 8O )

Whereabouts in Portugal are you? It looks beautiful there. Give it a few more months and it will be lovely and warm!

Hope they found your luggage all right (they usually do, I think), or that the shopping was good at least.
Portugal sounds like a pretty good place to visit, and I love the music (actually, I'm listening to Potuguese music even as I type)

WOW!

You're very lucky to experience such a beautiful
land like Portugal.

Enjoy your stay and I hope your luggage is found or you buy some new luggage.

Portugal is beautiful and everyone is so friendly!

They still haven't found my luggage but I get 50 Euros for the first 2 days, then I keep receipts for anything I buy after that, and they will refund my money when I get back to Australia.

A good excuse for shopping! The clothes here are much, much nicer than in Australia.

The weather is very mild - 14 degrees celcius during the day.

I am so happy spending time with my friend.

Thankyou everyone for your kind words.

Helen

P.S. I'll post more photos later.

have always kinda wondered.

Wikipedia says it's akin to the variations with British and US English.

They still haven't located my suitcase so I had to buy some underwear today. The situation was getting desperate. Actually I should have bought socks - will have to do that tomorrow. It's cold and my socks are very smelly now!

Here are a couple of photos from today. Absolutely beautiful!
