What fandoms are you in? Do you have any gadgets?

Personally, I am in the following ones: X-Men, Harry Potter, Back to the Future, Terminator, Stephen King’s books, Sandman (the last four in a lesser extent than two first ones), previously I used to belong to the Star Trek fandom but now I want to come back to it.

Phillip Pullman- His Dark Materials.

Stephen King- Yep

Wizard of Oz- even got collectables...

Alice in Wonderland and her chronicles as well as collectables....

Surlalune.com- You'll have to look that up.

W.B. Yeats- Irish Folktales

Edgar Allan Poe- his works

Betty Boop

Pippi Longstocking

Aliens- love the movie and it's series and comic book illustrations.



You could say my obsessions are a bit antique and childish.....

I don't support fandom because they're all (usually) a bunch of whiners.

I got out of fandom during the Colin Baker era when the fans kept trying to suicide their own show by saying "it's not as good as it used to be".

In any case,

I'm into Doctor Who and Star Wars. Have books and CDs and Audio Books and DVDs and Figures and props etc for both.

I'm keen on other things like Stephen King but I've only got books and CDs for them (lots and lots of books though) - so I don't know if that counts.

Same goes for Aliens...

Gadgets?

I'm not actively in any sort of groups like talking to other fans and such, but I do have strong interests in certain tv shows and movies that would qualify me for fandom I suppose. As far as collectibles, I have some props and furnishings from the set of the US Queer As Folk, and a few LOTR figurines. They don't really count but I also crocheted a dalek and the 10th doctor. I'd like more collectibles from other shows/movies but I can't afford them at the moment.

I used to be a Beasties (Beast Wars) fan, but i sold most of them, only have 2 left to remember them by =( . And i dunno if that counts, but used to be a Dragonball Z fan? (we have an encyclopedia of the thing + a few of the books)

I used to belong to the Myst fandom but now I have nothing more to say about Myst so I haven't been on the Myst webboards in years except to check who was still there and who had died since I left and who had gotten married and who had had kids and who had gone on to university and who had contracted a disease and who had gotten bald and fat.

I read the occasional story in the Star Trek:Enterprise section of fanfic dot net. However, it's hard getting into some of them; especially the ones with 186 chapters and 362,424 words...

As a kid I was home sick a lot and thus spent all day watching old television shows on tape (my dad would tape the shows so that when they went off air he could continue to watch them) and reading comic books.
I used to have a ton of stuff but had to sell most of it over the years
