In Spring 2002 we got Petey from Petco in Louisville Texas.

Since we had her she was always a friendly bird who liked people.

Later that year we also got Patty. Pete and Patty were friends.

After my family moved to Minnesota in 2003 we also got Pepper and Caso.

They use to play and have fun together.

Petey was highly interested when the Tiels were laying eggs.

And when Pavi was born.

It was lots of fun from Spring 2002 to Fall 2007.

But in October 2007 Petey went blind and her condition degenerated from then,

Until today, February 21st 2008, when I found her dead in her cage after coming home this afternoon. I'll miss Petey, and I love her very much. I'm glad though that she died on her own.

I want her to be buried; I don't like my step-dad's suggestion.

My deepest condolences. I know how it feels to lose a pet, because my dog had to be put to sleep last spring.

Wonderful biography, by the way. :)

Losing a pet is terrible. :( Rest in peace, Petey.

If you felt loved by that birdy it is because you showed love. I'm sure you will hold your good memories tight. Thats all we can hope to do for each other in this world. My condolences.

My sincerest condolences to you. Petey was very beautiful and I can tell she was very special to you. It hurts to lose a pet.
I noticed all of your pets have P names. All of my indoor pets' names begin with P too.

Rest in peace Petey, and don't fly into cat-heaven by mistake

Oh, no!

I'm so sorry this happened. I started to tear up. You talked so much about her, I feel like I knew her. I loved coming home from work and catching up with you on the LPTP thread last summer and you shared photos and stories about her then. I was so relieved when she didn't die that one time. I'm glad you made this thread to remember her and I do home you can bury her body as you wish.
