so, I'm not the most organized and the cleanest person in the world. The apartment is littered with clutter - un-thrown away paper plated, mail, pizza boxes, cans, bottles, baby toys, wrappers from stuff...

I guess it's more convenient for me to toss it on the floor or if I don't make it when trying to throw it to the trashcan, I'll just leave it there.

My wife is just as bad if not worse.

Does anyone have any tips and tricks to keeping a clean and well-organized household?

I'm desperate. Olivia is going to be creeping and crawling soon.

#1 The trash can is NOT a basketball hoop. If you're that lazy, bring the trash can with you and place it within arms length. OR buy more trash cans and place them so that there is one within 5 feet of wherever you sit the most. Like right by the computer, for instance.

#2 Empty the trash as soon as it is full.

#3 Get off your duff and pick up stuff every once in a while. Like while a web page is loading or during commercials or something.

#4 Your kids will learn behavior by example, not by what you tell them. Stop behaving like a pig.

For those of you who were asleep during World War III and unaware of the robots taking over modern societies, yes it's true - human celebrities are now being cloned and sold off as housewives to the general public. I'm low on money so I had to settle for a Rachael Ray clone. On the upside, the meals are fantastic.

I have less money. I got Martha Stewart. No, not the clone. 8O
