Ok I already know LOTS of WP people do but do you ever get your nose all dried upand crusty in the mornings? DO you catch colds?

Do you have any nose problems? And suspect the fan?

I do sometimes have nose problems in the morning, but I don't mind. I need a fan, I've needed one since I was 4. Otherwise it feels like I'm suffocating. :?:

I love having my fan on.
But, no. I don't really have any problems like that.

The white noise from the fan really helps me to fall asleep. Nose crusties have never been a problem in that area...

It is too freaking cold here right now for a fan but I love it for the breeze and "white noise" in the summer. Never had any negative side effects

Doesn't give me trouble, but it's good to know that other people need one!

Personally, I must have complete silence and total darkness in order to ensure a good night's sleep.
In last 2 years, I've become a very light sleeper -a fact I hate- so the less distractions, the better. I've never slept with a fan, but I used to leave my window open a crack in the summer.
Nowadays, it's too dangerous, what with the high crime rate in Dublin these days... :(

I have to have the fan in the warm months but switch to a white noise CD when it gets cooler. I have to have it in order to sleep.

When I lived with my parents I had a white noise generator on my bedstand, I loved it. When I moved out I must have lost it or something. Now I have my computer in my room, and that makes a bit of constant noise. I wish I still had the noise machine, though. This thread reminded me of it and now I'll have to see if I can find it again :)

I slept with a fan at full power just 4ft from my face when I was a kid.

No issues.

Until I became a teenager and then I started to get colds and stuff so I switched to a ceiling fan.

Even now I cant sleep unless I feel the air moving a little.. I dont like stuffy places.

I just turn my fan on and turn it away from me, right now its pretty cold in here, and thats the way I like it, as long as I can hear it I dont need it blowing on me.
