man, you should have seen that Black Hawk go down! It was spectacular!

j/k!

I went to a local gaming store where they taught me some ins and outs of the Star Wars roleplaying game. You know, the one with the 20-sided dice?

Someone asked me, "Why at 35 are you picking this up now?" I said that I wanted to make friends and since I love Star Wars, making friends and games, I figured "why not?".

Awesome \m/

Star Wars was my first P&P (pencil and paper) as well, but I played the original, before it turned D20 (it was just six sided die, more akin to Shadowrun).

Very, very cool. May it lead you to some wonderful times ahead.

I have been gaming with my D&D group for about 15 years now. It is part of my weekly "therapy" to unwind and enjoy life.

Within D&D... within the visions and dreams needed to make that game work, I find part of myself and I am happy.
