If you go to your freezer, hope that there is a bag of frozen peas ( or some type of frozen vegetable)inside. Wrap the bag in a dry towel and then place it over your forehead. This will reduce swelling, and since frozen peas/corn/etc are more malleable than big ice cubes, they'll wrap right around your ouchie area and this feels good. Make sure you use the towel because it gets real cold on the skin and the towel dulls the cold a bit.
