Doctor who has too many powers for my liking. Ability to come back from the dead and all. What next, will he own a machine gun.

There's a lot of people on WP who liked Dr Who... many of whom liked it before the 2005 revival - Personally it's been my favourite show for the past 35 years. :D

I started watching about halfway through the first season to have the current Doctor.
The last episode I saw was one of the last episodes of the last season. "The Master" stole the TARDIS and escaped at the end of the episode. I have been waiting for the new season but as far as I know, it hasn't started yet...
Does anybody know where I can watch the last few episodes of last season?

In the new series he seems to have grown much more powerful...

In a lot of scenes I can't get it out of my head that his eyes go different directions, it keeps weirding me out.

Actually, I think he started to grow more powerful starting from Remembrance of the Daleks when they revealed (sort-of) that he wasn't just "another time lord".

Also, remember that unlike most Time Lords, he's been out and about and that his DNA has been altering itself as it takes various new bits onboard - Cat people for instance. The Master's DNA is similar in this regard. I'd spoil Alien Bodies for everyone but instead, I'd suggest you read it. Also, Lungbarrow, since that covers the alien nature of the entity that became the Doctor.
