Damnit!

We're too acid.

I take a teaspoon of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) and a tablet of Calcium carbonate
every day.I am trying to find potassium bicarbonate to complete the trio.

Try it!

I think this is the 3rd or 4th time I have written about this
and no-one yet has done it.
If anyone does, let me know how you go!

I have some baking soda. I will mix a quarter of a teaspoon with some water and see what happens. I'll do this here in a few minutes before I try to sleep. I'll let you know what happens.

Oh yeah, I have some night where my mind just keeps going and going and going... sleep what is that? :)

I take it in the morning or whenever I have an empty stomach.
I think last thing at night may be a little late?
Make sure the baking soda is aluminium free!

Mind racing... a meditation last thing at night used to work,
especially when I first started.

DUDE!! !

OH MY GOODNESS!

Yesterday, I took a teaspoon and swirled it in a big glass of filtered water. I drank it slowly over the course of an hour. After awhile, I felt great! I slept sooooo deeply last night that I was tired all day. Woohoo!

I am going to do this a few more times, but without a pattern, and then with one to get some more data. I am thinking though that regardless, each and every time will have the same results: sleep! :D

THANK YOU! Woohoo!! !

I am so happy that this worked out so well for you!
So, almost a week has gone by (sorry for the late reply, I told you it doesn't do
anything for anxiety, and I tend to get lost seeking tangential distractions)
are you still achieving a successful outcome?

One thing you said "I slept sooooo deeply last night that I was tired all day."
really bugged me too, and still does.
'Groggy in the morning and only becoming mentally alert in the afternoon.'
I guess it's just part of the teritory of ASD symptoms? :?

Anyway, every so often I get a reply like yours and it just makes my day! :D
It really reaffirms my sense of 'making a difference' on WP.
Thanks!

I suffered from it today. I didn't go to sleep until 10:00 this morning and I woke up at 2:00. I was just going to stay up until tonight but I couldn't. :x

^ Hmmm, must be that insomnia bug spreading itself around again - I was up about 10 times last night! :x

I keep my AC very cold, but I still wonder if the insomnia is because of the heatwave . . . 8O

Welcome! :D

No problem on the anxiety part. I sometimes take St Johns wort for that and it helps.

I have had a glass of water with baking soda every day since I have started. The first day was the best. It had a very soothing feeling for my digestion track. Since then I have had a lot of problems with digesting food. Less gas. Less pain. Less discomfort overall. It feels good.

Ok, the sleep part. I have a lot of stressful things going on right now and I attribute part of my sleep patterns (or lack of) to those.

Anyway, I plan on continuing to take this. Thanks again!

:)

Did you mean to say 'Since then I have had a lot 'less' problems with digesting food' :?
or 'I have 'not' had a lot of problems digesting food'?
it doesn't seem to fit with what you follow it with.

Remember Sodium Bi-carbonate is only ONE form of systemic alkaliniser.
If you have high blood pressure that is going to be a problem.
It's a lot of sodium to be ingesting every day.
Even the little grocery store up the road from me has Calcium Carbonate tablets
