This is no joke.

The warning is incomplete. Yes, you should read the labels of the products you buy, but it won't help if you're unaware of the most commonly used trade name for this hazardous chemical:

"Water".

Haha, I already knew that this was not dangerous; I read the Snopes.com article on it.

Not dangerous? Every summer, we read of fatalities caused by accidentally breathing in large quantities of dihydrogen monoxide! In winter, there are tales of those who have frozen to death after being lured onto surfaces of its solid form, only to fall through into the liquid variety, or of damage caused by massive flows of the semisolid version that precipitates out of contaminated air ("avalanches" is the common label). Action of dihydrogen monoxide and trace contaminants has been known to carve great rifts through the very surface of the Earth itself! (What do you think created the Grand Canyon, that massive wound in the breast of Mother Earth?)

We must stop this menace before it's too late!
