Anyone here ever meet anyone famous?? I have met a few famous people over the years, Richard Petty, Joe Gibbs( at a church prayer breakfast), Ron Garney( artist for Captain America in 1996, actually sat next to him on a flight), James Hetfield, Jim Lee( comic artist), Rob Liefeld( comic artist), Erik Larsen( comic artist), and Jesse James( Monster Garage) and his wife Sandra Bullock.

I once met dr. Harry Cooper, he is fairly famous vet in Australia, even got him to sighn some things.

I once served drinks to Paul McCartneys wife in a bar where I worked. she's not really a big-shot celeb tho, I don't even remember her name. ;p

On September 12th I get to meet Wyland. He is one of the most famous artists in the world. If you don't know who he is, he's the one that does the paintings of whales and dolphins and even does large murals of them on walls and sometimes entire buildings. We have arranged a special meeting with Wyland because of my autism. My mom tells everyone about me which is good because if you tell the right person, something good might happen. My mom told the gallery owner about me and sent him one of my dolphin paintings. They sent it off to Wyland and his people that work for him. They were amazed at what my dolphins looked like, especially the lighting effects I put in it. So I will have a private meeting with him for about 10 minutes and since I am giving him several of my prints, in return he is doing an original sketch or painting for me. A quick painting which is just a few brush strokes if that is worth around $5,000 and it only takes him 5 minutes! His detailed originals go for hundreds of thousands of dollars, the ones that take him only a few hours are worth $20,000 or more. And the gallery owner is trying to get the news out there to cover the story. I pray one of the stations get to do the story on me and Wyland. If not the news, the Seattle paper might cover me and him. So, if everything goes according to plan, I might get famous with my art as well. I paint and draw other things besides dolphins and whales. I do all kinds of wildlife and pet portraits for people. Everyone loves their pet except those ones who abuse them and torture them. I hope the people who treat animals like that should be killed themselves. I can't wait until September 12th!! !! !! ! That might be one of the biggest things of my lifetime. Wyland did a mile long mural in China for the Olympics this year. He probably got paid millions for it. That is how famous he is. He's in books (I have one of them of course), he's in 40 galleries in the US, and has 500,000 collectors according to his site. I'm only in 2 galleries in my area. More people want my originals than my prints because they know the value of them will go way up and probably soon. I only charge $125 for a pet portrait and its an 8 x 10 drawing. Many people want it but they don't want to spend the $26 for a print. How weird! And now I have a new art teacher that will help me get even more realistic in my drawings and paintings and also will teach me sculptures! I am going to draw this Australian scene soon that will come in three panels. Each with a different habitat. One will be desert animals, one will be forest animals, and finally the water animals like the whales and stuff. Wyland will like the last part the most. But it is going to take me weeks to finish it. And I don't know how we are going to accomplish this but we are going to try to have a transition between each panel. I have done an underwater scene, a Northwest wildlife scene (that is where I live), Alaska scene, Africa scene, an Arctic scene, and finally a South American scene. Beasley is a very good friend in that we share the same passion in canopy piloting, through him I met Carl, Emmanuel and Michelle who played Cherel on Isidingo here in South Africa. must add this. Michelle is a big celebrity over here as well as Charlize Theron but once you get to know them they really are amazing people. Story on Beasley is that while I was in ICU after visiting hours he stayed for an extra hour. Great to have celebrity friends, just don't always wanna be them

I have written a couple of letters to the author of the Complete Book of the Olympic Games, David Wallechinsky, asking for information about Olympic champions of the past, for research I was doing on books about the Games. He wrote to me giving me information about where to write in the athlete's country of origin.

Yes, but I don't want to mention anyone's name on a public forum. Famous people are no different from anyone else. I've seen famous people in the places where I've lived, and I've had chances to talk to them, but I've never felt like it.

You know how it is - someone nudges me and whispers, "That's [famous person]!" and I say, "Oh, and that's [un-famous person]!" *pointing*.

I like to treat my friends like celebrities and treat celebrities like people I don't know or don't know very well - because I see that as consistent with reality, or at least my version of it.

I almost forgot; I met Gene Roddenberry at a Star Trek convention at Michigan State University in the early 1970's. Just a handshake and an intro, that's all.
