I'm indecisive about the subject.
I'm not sure what to talk about specifically, and in some ways, this is just random waffle. But, this is wrongplanet! Waffle, of course, is acceptable here; people do tend to waffle here.
What others would find uninteresting is regarded as worth thinking about here, I would think.
And.... I would think. I am thinking right now. What about? Lots of things, that I may share with you.
First off, I was just thinking about how I quit using wrongplanet a while back because I have no diagnosis (still haven't got one) but, this place is for everyone, and it is not unthought of that NT's would get along with Aspies.
I do not regard myself as an NT and I strongly believe that I am not NT, but that isn't the point; I felt it was wrong to use this site because I deeply suspected that I had something wrong, when it wasn't verified. I don't actually think that matters anymore.
I seem to get on with aspies better than your average person. My peers have always been eccentric nut cases.
Anyway, I suppose you could call that an intro; something else I have been thinking about is life itself. Life itself, not a new topic, and even what I have to say is nothing new, just that I wonder; how real is life? Yes, I am aware that I am alive, or at the very least, something allows my consciousness.
The idea that our reality isn't what it seems isn't a new one. As I think about technological advances, and people's desire to control one another, and the apparent slow down in scientific development (because the concept of infinity was lost) AND the secrets that are withheld by the people who rule the Earth; it makes me think, how much do we really know about our surroundings? Why is it that we do things that other animals do not? Intelligence is a factor, yes, but we go beyond what is necessary, as if we are being controlled.
Our senses - should we trust them? I don't think we should. The other day I found a website where I could download some sound files. Provided I wore headphones, I could hear the sounds as if they were somewhere in the room I occupied. It was a trick of the mind. I therefore wouldn't rule about the possibilty of other tricks being played on us, in order for someone or something's evil plans to be fufilled.
I thought of a wonderful game idea this morning. It was fantastic!
I won't explain every detail, because I don't like giving my ideas away, but basically (yet again I have thought of a revolutionary idea that none will hear about) you start as a child who lives in the future. The world is like a puzzle, and people's minds are controlled by technology. Certain gifted children can see what is not there, and others are just plain normal, but the dumb kids need a devices attatched to their brains in order for them to function at the correct level.
You actually start learning about the world by being part of an education system. You can even meet up with people who have experienced a previous life, and their wisdom is far greater than anything anyone can comprehend. Sometimes these people are pure evil.
Some elements that would really make the game special (in no great detail)
- a sense of people living their lives and making achievements without you having direct control over the story.
- so many different options that you have in your life.
- people commiting crimes, sometimes alienating from the plot.
So, effectively, it wouldn't be a linear game.
[I'm already parnaoid someone will try and figure out my idea.]
