When I first come across it, I thought meh actually stood for something, like QFT.

What does QFT mean? (I know it will be obvious, once I'm told)

QFT= Quoted For the Truth as in agree.

Ah, memes. You never know what new word will pop up. A good way to keep up with this is to look up the urban dictionary on the internet.

The first time I saw "QFT" I thought it meant "Quite F*cking True" or something... similar story with "FTW"

I thought it had something to do with queer.... :?

IMO I thought was another word for laughing but In My Opinion.

Now there's IMHO, In My Humble Opinion. I wonder how many more add-ons there's going to be.

IMFO

It's true that QFT is often used to indicate agreement, but it also means that you are trapping the quote in its original state, in case the writer goes back and changes or deletes it later.

^That makes more sense although ppl probably won't get it. At least we can always see an edit if they do change their quote IMO.

The beauty of the QFT quote is that you can see exactly what they took out or revised

I thought QFT was an expression of approval meaning "Quite Frankly Told".

I think I first saw it on these boards. I always thought it was 'eh' with an 'm' on the front.

I say it aloud. Meh, a response displaying bored or disdainful acknowledgment, or apathy.
