I made that scarf a few years ago for a christmas present to one of the doctors I work for - his major in undergraduate school was genetics. When he opened it, and realized what the pattern was he actually had a tear in his eye and he just couldn't believe I would make something so wonderful just for him. :D He held the scarf all night and kept touching it to make sure it was real. The best reception for a gift I have ever had.

I have to make one for myself eventually, and even have the Aran wool here somewhere, but I haven't quite got around to making one yet (busy with a sweater at the moment).
