Basically...I've noticed that both me and a lot of my friends are starting to get hit by a severe case of nostalgia. Like recently, I spent over $25 on an old PS1 game because I felt super nostalgic and I'm getting back into old music from my childhood *cough* Wasn't Me *cough* *sneeze* Blue *sneeze*. I'm REALLY enjoying this period of nostalgia, it makes me feel really content with life and it's great! Anyone else get super nostalgic recently?

A few months ago. Really, I'm just amazed at how much of my childhood I don't remember. That is, of course, until I'm reminded of it.

I don't get nostalgic at all. I've seen so many movies and TV shows as an adult that I loved as a kid, and I thought, "Jesus, how did I ever like that?"

The first Ninja Turtles movie was on TV the other day and I was like "Sweet! I used to LOVE this when I was a kid". Well, I'm not a kid anymore and the movie is HORRIBLE.

I was listening to the song "Behind these Hazel Eyes" by Kelly Clarkson about a year ago and it reminded me of my childhood. I was like, "This song reminds me of when I was eight years old!"

It's odd, I can see why I shouldn't like a lot of the stuff I did as a child now, but I am able to turn off my reasoning and just enjoy it for what it is and what it was to me back then.

This, though I do like watching Samurai Jack.

I'd say playing pokemon and kirby games, but I never stopped playing that.

@Whosinabunker: I posted this in response to you putting 'Blue' in the "What are you listening to" thread but I am not sure you saw it. So I'll just repost it here because it fits this thread so well! :D

Oh. My. God. I forgot all about this song, I'm not sure whether to thank you or fall in love with you. =D

Well, that explains why so many people love the awful Transformers movies.

I never really got into the cartoons, either the old ones or the newer ones, but I don't remember hating them. Someone needs to hit Michael Bay with a rolled up newspaper and shout, "No!"

I was born in 1990 so naturally I grew up in the 90s and it amazes me how they are now becoming retro. I think there was a major pop culture shift that happened from 2005 to 2008; really the early 2000s, while I don't like them as much as the 90s, still had a style that was primarily 90s. and even a year like 2004 is quite a bit different from now.
