some sort of misscariage preventing drug

Do any of y'all know of some sort of miscarriage preventing drug, and what it's name might be?

I've been wondering of this for some months now, for I learned that my mother was given some kind of medication when pregnant with me. This medication supposedly had/has some sort of side affect on the fetus that would often result in the child having above average intelligence.

I know that I have above average intelligence, and I often wonder if this drug may have also caused some of my other...quarks.
