Is an unmarried male and female sleeping in the same bed wrong? When there nothing sexual about it? Does it matter what age they are?

I don't see anything wrong with it if it's two consenting adults. Teens? Not crazy about it. Young kids, no big deal. Young child and adult? Depends on who it is.

It's not right for an unwed man and a woman to be living in the same house together in the first place. If any woman climbs in bed with a man, I wouldn't be surprised if things went bump in the night and she wound up getting knocked up.

Feh, you liberals and your unconventional ways...

As long as you're not doing anything other than sleeping, I don't see a problem with it.

If they're not gonna do anything else then it aint wrong but even if they where then there wouldn't really be anything wrong with it unless they're related.

The fact that they are unmarried makes no difference at all.

I don't see what's wrong with it, sharing a bed sounds okay to me.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it, but parents certainly might not approve, if that's what you're getting at :x

I don't see anything wrong with it.
But I don't like the general concept of marriage anyway.
I also don't see anything wrong with a couple doing sexual acts when they're not married.
I would if their religion didn't allow it, that would just annoy me.
If the two are together as a couple, it's kind of obvious that it's suppose to look like that(IMO), so I think it's just the same as having sex, minus all the dangers of sex.
Most people wouldn't agree with me, but, meh.

No, it’s what I like to imagine heaven would be like. I would like to be sleeping on God's lap.

Sleeping isn't sexual. If they literally just slept in the same bed (ie. no kissing, no touching each other sexually) then it's fine. Friends of the same gender and family members often sleep in the same bed if it's convinient, so why a problem with friends of different genders?
I have fallen asleep on the floor or the sofa with my best friend, who is male, and been to a sleepover where both genders were present and sleeping in the same room maybe sharing a sofa.
It's only taboo because people say 'sleeping together' as a euphamism for having sex.

IdahoRose - not everyone is a sex maniac. :|

The question states nothing sexual happened, so I don't understand why people are saying things like 'consenting adults' and 'not if they were teens'.
