Remember the lousy neighbor who I thought was dealing drugs and stuff out of his apartment and making a bunch of noise at the wee hours of the morning? He was arrested for building a fire in the back yard with gasoline (on a windy, dry day I might add). That gave the police probable cause to search his apartment. they found a gun and drug paraphernalia and what else, I am unsure but he's either been in the clink since then or stayed in jail overnight and decided to stay away from this apartment since he's been free but we haven't seen hide nor hair of him since.

Anyhoo, his stepmother informed me and my other neighbor that his cat is missing. She gave a description of the poor deary; a white and gray fluffy cat. I saw it today. She was crying at my door. I tried tempting it to me and I would have sequestered her in my basement because she would have gotten into fights with my cats.

So I put out a few day's worth of food and clean water out and a warming light and a blanket on the porch and left a note on his door.

I dun good :)

Yep, you done good. :thumleft:

Poor kitty. Goodness only knows what it had to go through living with that guy, and now it's been scared by all the commotion and doesn't have a home anymore. :(

Is his step-mother going to take the cat? If not, you might have to A) Keep the cat. Or B) Call the SPCA.

When my neighbour moved out she carelessly left her cat at the house. Now the cat lives with the old lady across the road along with one of my cats who decided that her food was better than ours.

I'm sure this cat appreciates that you are leaving out food & water, but it needs a home. Stupid guy!! I hope he goes to prison.
