I would like to know which soft drinks are your favourites.

My favourite is ginger beer. Unfortunately, the Tescos I shop at here in Edinburgh stocks only ginger ale, which is an unsatisfactory substitute. So, when I am at home I must buy some there and bring it South.

I am also a great fan of Dr. Pepper and Irn Bru (although I think Irn Bru fanship may be a national requirement). Right now I am drinking Irn Bru (on account of lack of ginger beer).

So, do tell, which are your favourite soft drinks? Are you drinking any now?

I love Grape Crush soda (Crush being the company, they're best known for their orange soda), I'll drink Cream Soda of the same company but I prefer grape - unfortunately my brothers love it too so I usually have to hide the cases that I buy so that I get some of the cans :(

Is that I drink? I thought Golden Delicious was only a kind of apple.

A Golden Delicious apple is better than a drink. It tastes just good as one, yet it fills you up, and there's no container to potentially leak. I used to rely on sodas for taste stimulation. Now I eat apples, and am glad to defy the trend of everyone becoming fat slobs by the time they're 30.

Coke. And I also like Kola Champagne from time to time. Only one grocery store carries that kind of pop though.

I prefer Granny Smiths and Pink Ladies (This sentence makes me look like a pervert, but they are kinds of apples).

Pink lemonade is another I like. That's made from cranberries isn't it? In that case, I was wrong in what I said in the cranberry thread. They are worth something after all.

I dislike your soft drink ideology.

It's got to be cola all the way. Coke or Pepsi, though Virgin cola is better than either (although it's now hard to obtain + seems even more sugary than others). Dr Pepper is okay.
Sprite is good too.
Cream Soda is another drink I like.

And this reminds me, they REALLY should bring back vanilla coke, possibly the best soft drink in the world.

Coca Cola is a favorite of mine, especially the stuff that comes over from Mexico due to the fact that the Mexicans still use real cane sugar in their coke. Other than that I also like Limonata San Pellegrino, and Aranciata San Pellegrino, as well as the rare imported Tango Lemon, or Tango Orange on the rare occaisons that I go to the British Store.

Ah, vanilla coke used to be my soft drink of choice - before I discovered ginger beer. I used to always get some after visiting the dentist (if this seems counterproductive, I must say that at that time it was the only occasion I ever bought fizzy juice).

Red grape is usually what gives pink lemonade its unique color. Cranberries are primarily tart, so they wouldn't compliment the lemon at all.
