Does anybody have an object which they particularly cherish?

Some time ago my granddad gave me a pocket watch, and it is - I think - quite old. It is broken (it will not wind up) and I have been told it is unfixable. However, despite its inability to perform its function, I think it is still a beautiful thing.

Every single plant in my garden, particularly those in the botanical families: Lamiaceae (Mint), Myrtaceae (Myrtle) and Solanaceae (Nightshade).

All my musical instruments, particularly my Gibson SG guitar and faux-Rickenbacker bass.

My mp3 player.

My Atlas. It was printed this year so it's almost totally up-to-date. I can't go away for too long without it, if I do I'll almost definitely need it for something!

Toshiba Equium laptop.
this is toshibas low end range,but apart from the inside silver paint job,it';s still a very high quality strong build,its survived many 'incidents',meltdowns,and seizures,worst damage its ever had was needing the hard drive replaced and the tracking pad replaced,it should be in pieces by now.
