I wouldn't feel like, "Oh, he cares," if he bought me a bra. I'd think it was a weird, utilitarian sort of gift. "Oh, he cares," comes with the sexy little numbers he buys that he wants to see me in!

Also, your chart says I'm a DD which is simply not true. Maybe I made a mistake in my conversion (I used a calculator, but given my learning disorder that doesn't guarantee anything). I have another theory, though. I know that in many places in Europe, shoe sizes differ from the US. (I used to buy shoes from a UK company and the number seemed ludicrously high when in the US II wear a 7.5.) Could the letters correspond differently to the measurements in Europe and the US? Because frankly, anything with a G seems pretty damn big to me.

You're pretty example of Letterphobia. I know that if all your life you thought that D is big cup, it's hard to change it. As I said before, D is only 3" bigger than A.

I'm a 30D. I always thought I was a 34B, because I thought "my boobs aren't all that huge."
Little did I know, bra sizes are very contrary to social stigma. We think of D as being big and DD as being huge.
I was measured by one of the people at Victoria's Secret (it's not as bad as it sounds. They give you a measuring bra to put on and then measure you over that) and she told me I was a 30D... I didn't believe her until I tried on some 30D bras that she gave me and they fit perfectly. I'd never had a bra that felt so natural!
Too bad no companies except super expensive bra makers sell 30D.
Right now I'm wearing an old 34B because my one 30D bra broke...

I have realized recently that B is the wrong cup size for me,,,I have a wide rib cage but my boobs are fairly small....I just bought a wire-free 38 C, and it is much better...though not sure if it is perfect. I am very confused by all the European sizes...I have worn some c-cup bras where the band was tight but the cup was very loose at the sides...that is why I always thought i was a B...

After losing a fair chunk of weight over the last few months, I have no idea what my size is anymore. Most of my 14C bras still feel comfortable to wear but I guess they're too big. Might go to a 12D. I hate that none of the bras to buy here are really in a standard size; a 12C sometimes looks too small in one shop, but big enough in another.

34C/D. I swear everyone wears a 34D because there are never any available... but I don't wear bras much anymore so it doesn't matter

32D, slowly morphing into a DD.

38B for me, i have a stunning red dress and "hooker" boot to go with it.

My roommate changed her size and now she proudly wears 30DD. She threw away her old 38A

It's British size, but European would be also 34D. American sizes are like British, but they have curiosities like DDDDDD.

There's no only one B cup. Volume changes with the band size.




How big boobs look, depends on whole body shape. I'm tall with broad arms and heavy bones, so my 30J doesn't look big. If I was short person, the same size would look bigger.
Many people make this mistake. Eye measure is pointless. We wear bra on chests, not on eyes.

In other words: If you are 40 and somebody tells you you look like 30, you're still 40, right?

D-sizes again.

A great many women make the mistake of choosing too wide a band and too small a cup. Once guilty of the same offence, I went to a couple of top-class lingerie shops around London and had proper measurements done. I would have never dreamt that my proper size was 38DD - I thought I would permanently be in the 40s.

Although the new size took a bit of getting used to, the difference is amazing. Although I'm decidedly on the larger side at 175cm / 5-9 with a fairly broad bone structure, the 'girls' still used to frequently contribute to my back hurting by the end of the day. This almost never happens now.

38 C

38 C. I'm happy with them. I had a double mastectomy due to stage 1 cancer a couple of years ago. I then had reconstrcutive surgery... better than the originals
