Ummmm, where are we? I mean, it's the internet. You're worried about shyness? I don't understand.

I think that men should be able to read this section. There are things here i've learned about women's situations in life that I didn't know. I think that men need to know the sort of things that their wife/girlfriend/daugter/sister is going through. We need empathy, not secrecy.

I have no problem with men reading and posting here.

I don't really care either. Just as long as they don't claim to know more about my cooch than me, and they don't become a regular trying to turn this section into their own personal harem.

the best they can do is restrict gender, and people can just change that, or make a new account. give us an example of how this has negatively effected someone (like a link to a problematic male post).

+ whats it matter if someone says something. if its offensive it will probably be removed before you even read it (unless you are on here all day or something). + someone would actually have to know you (in person) to be able to connect this to your life outside of 'random durdle said this and it made me upset', effectively meaning regardless of what is said, you have the power to make it not bother you. its not like life is any different in this regard. some people are idiots. will you see less idiot posts if no men can post or view topics? probably. will you see less INTELLIGENT + HELPFUL posts from men who arent idiots? yep. and the more intelligent posts will always outnumber the posts of men being idiots. most people arent surfing these forums to troll randoms. this is more of a helpful place than a hurtful place.

Sometimes, only a man can give and appropriate answer to a woman's question...

Really.

Why would a woman expect another woman to know what a man wants in a relationship, what he enjoys doing, or even what he is thinking?

If someone wants to know what a man's perspective is on any given issue, then she should ask a man.

Otherwise, I would never claim to know more about anyone's "cooch" than the "cooch's" owner herself, especially since I'm not a groinocologist.

;)

I'm not sure why that would be posted in the Women's Discussion area rather than L&D though. It's not like people don't post elseware because they're female ;)

But yes, people do need to realize that the male perspective even of female specific situations is sometimes relevant. I more won't post details because of the fact that they're accessible to non-members than because they're accessible to males.
