this. this very, very much. the personal attacks get rather tiresome, mostly because of their stupidity and lack of originality: dyke! ugly dyke! fat ugly dyke! fat ugly dyke who can't get a man! fat ugly man-hating dyke who can't get a man! etc etc sexists tend to not be particularly clever or witty (or accurate) with their "insights".

It certainly is tiresome, but the alternative is letting them think they're in some kind of safe space for misogyny. They don't like the hassle either, so if someone calls them out they tend to quiet down (unless they're trolls).

Oh come on people, lets do this the easy way, segregate the sexes, men in one half of a city the women in another, do away with marriage, when have children split them equal time or according to their sexes. problem solved. this way all work environments will be all one sex or the other. same with communities, even with the forums here, start another one just for one sex and make this one for the other sex, problem solved.

Oddly enough there was a collection of women who did this -- bunch of single mothers, professionals with money, who bought houses near each other and raised their kids all together. Sounded like a lovely community. Story was in NYT, and the comment section went about 4000 comments long, full of guys ranting about whatabouttehmenz and evil feminists and how they were abusing the children by bringing them up without men.

I'd have thought ordinary civility and respect would be the simplest thing, but apparently not. Over on the current raging L&D thread I've apparently become an emotionally-blackmailing, rape-card-playing bully (not to mention profoundly autistic and a PTSD victim) who's the worst of feminism because I've been pretty unwavering about the idea that simply doing sexual things to someone else, without asking and getting a "yes let's", is rude and assaultive.

One of the biggest problems is, our instincts and our biology can not be moralized without it creating imbalance between the sexes. our instincts and our biology is not based upon what is right or wrong.

we were not created by some god that had morals and values, we are a product of evolution.

oh, cripes, not scientistic baloney used as justification for sexism. Again. Come on. This is one of the worst things about the MRA movement, this random stagger through the science supermarket, grabbing notions off the shelf and taking them home and trying to use them to build a shrine for sexism.

I've worked in science and with scientists for 15 years. There is no actual science that says anything about "imbalance between the sexes" or any such. Nor have men and women "evolved to" behave in ways convenient to MRAs. Put the evopsych back in the gutter where you found it, and then you should wash your hands.

Here, enjoy: http://io9.com/the-rise-of-the-evolutio ... -757550990

Then your choosing to be blind just to justify your own cause. secondly I was not trying to justify nothing, only stating a fact, Evolution does not evolve things based on morality. about the only thing that was evolved based upon morality is religions, so unless you want to return to the dark ages you may want to get your head out of the hole in the ground.

While I agree on the scientific part, the morale part is something we as a society can build. Letting hormones rage unchecked is the real issue, not evolving with morality. You said yourself that it doesn't happen.

What we need to fix is not the evolutionary drive, but the ability to not pursue those urges with someone who actively says "no" to it, regardless of gender.

Hon, evolution has nothing to do with this. What you're repeating is a particularly silly misuse of science that's floating around the manosphere the last few years. The point of the misuse is to say, "Durr, ain't our fault we treat women in a way you say is horrible, we're programmed to do it and they're programmed to like it. It's got nothing to do with morality, it's Science!"

It isn't real science. You should know that there are no serious scientists who respect that crap, and that repeating it's like wearing a tag from an Elliot Rodger conference.

You say you want equality, when even man is a dick to man.
no, you want more then equality.,
you want that aggressive a**hole, not that Mr nice guy.
survival of the fittest. you want mister alpha.,
historically the fewer males there was the more obvious the pickings. but when there becomes billions of us, it becomes hard for the females to choose from. the divorce rates are vary high.
its no wonder the males are becoming frustrated,

Being "alpha" has nothing to do with being an "a$$hole."

And female primates do, in fact, mate with beta and omega males when the alphas aren't looking.

If you're going to try and be "scientific," at least get the science correct.

AM: You are placing your own opinions into womens' mouths, and you are making exponential assumptions. Please don't do that.

the pickings are slim.

Because all men are rational creatures, of course!

I was keeping it civil. My point was that men aren't more rational than women.
