AndroAspie
I'm a new 40 something female aspie on the forum. I still have the female body I was born with but my mind is androgynous. I relate to female experiences so i hope nobody minds if I participate.
I was raised without options and led a sheltered life for many years. Only recently, the last 6 years, have I started to look seriously at my gender identity and sexual orientation.
Picking up on words and terms like bisexual, asexual, pansexual, gender fluid, epicene, gender neutral, pangender, etc has led me on a confusing but enlightening journey toward my own identity. I'm not quiet there yet, still working it out but I know I am pansexual leaning towards asexual, gender neutral yoked with female conditioning, testosterone elevated female hormones.
The strict conservative fundamental beliefs of my parents still stop me from following my heart. I am already a constant disappointment for them and try to minimise their pain and embarrassment. Often I feel like a child but hurting isn't in my instincts.
I can see from many forum threads I am not alone and am in good company.
I consider it a privilege to be able to visit and read your experiences and learn from your mistakes and learned wisdom.
Cheers
Earth
(I didn't chose the name Earth in relation to a forum called Wrong Planet, it is a play on my real name)
