I'm going to be home. Alone.

I wish...

I have to stay home this year, I'm ill, aw man. I was invited to a party with lots of unknown people by my friend though.

I debated whether I'd go or not, because I don't fancy the loud music, the smoke and being imprisoned with twenty or more people in a room. I'm a total party killer when it comes to my ASD, I just can't keep up with the things that go around me and get an overload.
Fortunately for me, as soon as my hyperactivity kicks in I enjoy myself quite a lot. I feel the total opposite of before then, I want to talk to everybody, dance and tend to annoy the guests.
It doesn't happen every time, but it does happen often enough. That's where I think ADHD and ASD contradict each other very much.

I used to meet with close friends and have a small party preferably at somebodies house/appartment.

Since my last close friend disappeared from my life some two years ago today is my 3rd new years eve in a row I spend alone at home.
A bit sad on one hand, but not too bad on the other.

About 2hrs15 to go, I have a French red wine besides me (Chateauneuf Du Pape, Rhone) which I will enjoy for the rest of the evening, so I guess it can't go wrong 8)

I'll be chilling downstairs by myself, eating chicken nuggets and mozzarella sticks while watching Pulp Fiction. I rented it...I've been wanting to see it for a while. Upstairs my mother and her boyfriend will be having dinner together and watching a different movie. I'm feeling a little reclusive tonight, because earlier I had lunch with some friends of the family and I'm all social'ed out. It was a good time, but I'm not in the mood for any more.

I spent the New Year's Eve watching old episodes of The Beverly Hillbillies while drinking champagne. Granny sure can make me laugh!...I just love her way of handl'in things!

Yes, I'd much rather stay home than go out. I haven't been too keen on going out lately.

From 16-26 I would go out and get as drunk as possible(very patriotic) and hope to "hook-up".Last night I watched a marathon "Intervention" and couldnt figure out why I was hearing fire-crackers at 11:56 until my BF remined me it was New Years Eve.

Since my friends were either working last night or early this morning(And went to sleep early last night), I ended up just spending last night with my family at my Uncle's house, enjoying some pizza, booze, and poker. I find I completely suck at poker though. I can't tell when people are bluffing, and when I think they are, they usually aren't. At least we weren't actually playing for money.

I spent it with my family. Actually, I stayed away from them until persistent whining made me go downstairs at seven minutes to midnight; I stayed down there long enough for midnight to come and go and to find something to get rid of the champagne (how anyone can drink that is entirely beyond me) while fighting with my mother about when I should go to bed. Fun.
