Most people would probably say I missed out on life experiences, like teen the teen social thing...But IMO, had I actually been able to do those things, I don't think I would be any happier or better off. So I guess it depends how you look at it, or who's looking at it. I certainly don't feel bad about missing out on that stuff.
THANK YOU, YES! This is exactly how I see it.
And what of it I did experience....it was incredibly over-rated, and it was fun for a while, but then I got really, really bored, and wanted more out of life.
Folks understand..you're not missing out on it, because it's a lot to do with social communication and body language and all that...an area we don't even really understand.
It's like Morse Code being the big thing, but you don't even mentally understand it, thus can't comprehend "what's so great about it", so you don't use it.
Twitter is really big right now, and while I have an account, I barely use it; I don't see what's so great about it....
I see photos of people getting hammered like crazy, and taking pictures with their friends, and I don't understand the level of appeal for it really.
This just tells me I really don't think I'm missing anything; it's not for me, anyway.
