Those that want to believe I am autistic will find things about me that are autistic. Those that want to believe I'm not will find things about me that aren't.

I just like being me, in whatever form that is, whatever it's called. Life's too short to spend all your time categorizing yourself.

Autism refers to specific types of developmental hindrances, yes?

I am unable to process social cues, verbal cues, body language on the same level as an 8 or 9 year old. It takes effort to even notice them, even with years of practice, and it is still only superficial.

Asperger's explains a lot about me, but autism is autism, mild or not.

What's wrong with that?

As another posters sig says: "How dare we be different."
