I like my ability to pick up new concepts really easily. I'm sometimes confused by how long it takes my coworkers to understand something I think is really straightforward.

I like that too! Sometimes it's frustrating because I can't always articulate that I understand a concept. Especially when I'm on the spot; I look like a deer in headlights. Then people think I really don't know what I'm talking about. This happens at work mostly.

I also like knowing lots of details about completely random and unrelated things. Now if I could only turn that into a party trick...

I love the hyperfocus where I can block out a nuclear attack and keep sucking up information like a sponge. I also like my ability to quickly recognize patterns and inconsistencies. People think I'm a lie detector, but it's really the inconsistencies in their body language or previous statements (even if made years prior) that give it away. I can't remember what I ate for lunch yesterday but I can remember conversations nearly word for word from years ago. I'm an investigator, so the ability to decipher patterns and pick up on miniscule details is a big advantage.

You hit the nail on the head with that statement.

The question is contradictory.
