looking at it that way i have a ton of friends, like the big boy steam train, ..... they don't use them anymore.... what a waste of a beautiful machine.

they have one in PA, [i'm looking up info about the trains as i type here.] the only thing that makes living in this godforsaken state reasonable. omg i have got to go there and see it!! !! !!

xemnas: dc what is wrong with you!?

me: your just jealous because i found it and you didn't.

xemnas: *facepalm*

harkness: *staring at pictures of the train*

xemnas: oh god i think the android has found his lover.

harkness: *turns and glares* what was that zebra boy!

xemnas: nothing....

anyway those two are friends as well then they can't stand each other though.

quite possibly the saddest thing i have ever seen, poor thing is just rusting away there.

We've been through the best of times, and the worst of times. I can always count on my buddy here to help me in any situation.

What is the definition of a friend?

acquaintance-yes, I have a loot of those from school, church, and other places:
someone who knows your name, and shared some kind of experience with, and may or may not smile when they see you

ish-friend-yes, I have some of those from cross-country and church:
someone who likes to talk to you occasionally and you have something in common with them

sometimes-freind-yes, I have a handful of those:
someone who has hung out with you at least once in the past year aside from the place where you know from

friend-maybe, I might have these, but only 2 or 3:
someone who likes to hang out with you (means more than 1 time) and has asked you to hang out with them without being prompted

good-friend-no, I haven't had one of these for a long time:
someone who likes to hang out with you at least once a month, last time was in 10th grade thru 8th that I had a group I hung with

best-friend-no, I haven't had one since 7th grade:
someone who knows your dreams and fears, who likes spending time with, and you could call at 2 in the morning

If that isn't a good explanation, I don't know what is.

And nobody can go through life without an acquaintance.

Most people have ish-friends, aside from severely impacted people

I doubt that people can't have sometimes-friends, but I don't know people's lives.

People can go without friends, it happens.

And so on and so forth.....

I've nearly always had a small number of real-life friends. Also through my special interests I was practically a Beatle for a few years. I came from a family of 4, and I often tend to see myself as part of a foursome - Red Dwarf for example.

I have one or two friends but I can still go for several days without speaking to anyone...not by choice.

are wrong. "No man is an island", supposedly said G.S. Shaw. Well, I have tested that hypothesis. I have never wanted to be an island, but I have ended up one. So, I don't know where you are getting this from, but I have no friends other than my cat.

Let's see, there's my dog who doesn't mind if I grab her unexpectedly and smother her with kisses or just sniff her head to inhale her sweet puppy aroma.

There's also the whole lot of anime, movie and video game characters with whom I'm obssessed and/or have a deep crush on.

Come to think of it, I have lots of friends :)

Silly me for having felt lonely this whole time :P

I love being with people. I am not anti social. If I was, I might be happy. It is because I crave attention that this lonely existence is so hard upon me.
