Go to your kitchen cupboard. Take out a can, bottle or packet. Near the Barcode and ingredients there's often a customer careline. Phone it and ask something about the product. E.g: where do they sell it in a specific town, is it safe for coeliacs, etc

Renew library books by phone and ask them to reserve another by the author. There'll be a list at the front of the book

Phone your local train or bus station. Ask them how to get to a distant town. Ask for times and costs for e.g. tomorrow at 10am.
Don't phone while I'm trying to buy a ticket from the guy!! :?
