I thought some of you might like to know. Anbuend (Amanda Baggs) is an autism blogger and WP member. She has pneumonia and just posted about it today. She did specifically ask for people not to send her e-mail or call her, because she needs her energy; so this is more of a "send prayers/good vibes" situation.

I didn't know she was Amanda Baggs, I tought that videos where not true and Amanda was not a real woman. She was so kind to me and she was the one that was capable to write to me without hurting my feelings when my son was not verbal and I tried to understand his world and to communicate with him in some ways. Tank you for your kindness Amanda! I appreciated your words and I'll pray for you, even if I'm not used to pray.

Given a “tentative” diagnosis as a child as I needed services at school for what was later correctly discovered to be a major anxiety disorder.

This misdiagnosis caused me significant stress, which lessened upon finding out the truth about myself from my current and past long-term therapists - that I am an anxious and highly sensitive person but do not have an autism spectrum disorder.

My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.

My best guess is that she's concentrating on getting better. She's wise to do that rather than spend a lot of energy on trying to keep everyone up to date. I guess we'll hear from her once she's better. She'll probably post on her blog, when she has the time.
