Hi, I'm here and I would like know what some of the Aspies on this site do for a living. I went to school for creative writing, and I graduated with the realization that I never actuall liked creative writing.
My jobs so far have all been things that could be considered "safe" like now I'm a janitor. It has it's plus sides, there isn't much socializing, I'm left to my own devices, and all my coworkers are antisocial old men. However it is not something I would like to stay with long term, as the pay is not ideal and I do not find it fulfilling.
Everything I found about Aspergers and careers comes down to either Temple Grandins list, a careers with minimal social interactions, or careers related to social interests. My special interest is watching television, not writing it, or creating. I've tried to review it, but haven't had much luck with that. I'm just sick of all of the same advice about looking for a career. Can someone please give me some different advice?
