Every second of every day. I can't decide which I hate more--the world or myself.

I can't imagine what normal is like. I've only ever been this person.

No. I don't know what that is.

I don't wish I were normal. I DO wish "normal" people would stop making immutable (unable to be changed) snap judgments about me based on their own bad conditioning and beliefs, because it leads them to underestimate and under appreciate me. As a child, this was debilitating; as a "grown-up," I'm learning to cope.

I wish I didn't have anxiety or shyness or learning disability. Maybe yes then. But doesn't everyone have things about themselves they wish they didn't have?

In my perspective, I AM normal. It's other people who are not normal, and I don't want to be like them.

But do I ever wish I had a more normal life? Absolutely. I wish I could go out and do things like other people do, and not be exhausted by doing "normal" activities.

If you had asked me this at school or even a few years ago I would have jumped at the chance, but now I would wonder what it was like to be normal (say if you could swap for a day) but I'm kinda used to being me now so I'm fairly sure I would not swap now

To be honest sometimes I would like to be normal, preferably to be accepted however if that's not an option then I see little choice. Forced loneliness is hard and making a fool of yourself multiple times a day gets very frustrating very fast. I don't think people ever see who I really am because it doesn't really show very well, I really wish this could be fixed and being normal would go along way to doing that. Normal is a spectrum too by the way, that's how I see it.

I would like to be normal, but it is nice to be indifferent to the world. I like that nothing phases me. Indifference allows me to function without constantly worrying.

No, because I cannot envision this normalcy, as I have never been due to asperger's and adhd both.

I do however, wish for this a**hole who lives around the block from me to shut his damn car alarm off, as it's 3am here and it's been going off for, oh, at least the last hour and a half...

I thought I was "normal" until I learned of AS/Autism.

Makes me think of a quote I like:

"If all of our troubles could be hung out on the line
You would take yours and I would take mine"

What is normal?
I've always felt different. I wouldn't wish to be anything other than what I am. I like me... even if I am the only one who does!

i would actually perfer if im chosing things that wont happen that people be nicer and know what tourettes and autism are so they dont through eggs and stuff at me anymore

No! I've wished I was smarter and better looking but I've never wished to be normal!
