i had an instagram and i would post basically pictures of how i view the world - pictures of strangers, certain details that people might not really pay attention to - and it's very pure and transcendent of what may be seen as the "aspie" view of the world... but the thing is: EVERYONE keeps calling it "Weird", "psycho", "Serial killer" - ish yet I feel to me it's completely normal. I guess NT's see it that way, a friend stopped talking to me because of the photos of my instagram. SO YOU KNOW WHAT I DID! I deleted all of them and I made a private instagram with 0 followers, 90s style :) - my private photo album. Creating or showing experiences with and for other people > experiencing something yourself > how you appear to others while experiencing something. f**k Instagram.

Getting NTs to see the world through your eyes is kind of a fruitless effort. Been there and done that.

And, as sad as it may sound, you're best off not saying you're an aspie or such. Sorry, stigmatization. Especially in the environment you're in (school I assume).

A close friend sent me a link to this one site a while back: http://www.timothyarchibald.com/personal-projects/echolilia-/thumbs-caption

It's a good reminder that while it's likely that nobody might ever "understand your world", you're giving them something to consider, you're putting yourself out there, and you want to make a connection. Often I'm told, "any conversation is better than silence."

Well, perhaps they were just closed minded sheep, riddled with mind viruses, and paranoid from too much weed ?
I would like to see it.

You're a strong man. I feel very sad about that situation, you didn't deserve such treatment. Friend, I would advise you to use services for promotion of instagram accounts, l

we all would hafta see your exhibit of pics to judge.

Great photographers and photojournalists take pics of street scenes, and catch strangers in interesting situations. So on the face of it I don't know why folks would be creeped out by your pics like that. But then I haven't seen your pics either.

A young lady I used to know, early twenties grown up, but was very childlike in communication style due to odd stuff about her growing up. She had an aspie like obsession with domestic dogs. And on social media she would talk gleefully about all of the dogs she encountered on trips she took. All of their breeds. She would eagerly share about how "I got to pet a golden retriever at Myrle Beach" the way a typical NT might say "I saw the real Tom Hanks at restaurant in Mrytle Beach, and got his autograph".

Not surprisingly this geeky behavior on social media got folks ganging up on her and bullying her.

She printed a hard copy of some of the exchanges. I agreed with her that she didn't deserve the raw treatment. But also coached her to not talk in such a geeky way about her dog obsession because it was painting a target on her own ass in that situation. But while saying all of this in a calm parental voice to her...inside I would be laughing my ass off at her myself. Frankly..I prolly would have joined that gang who was bullying her myself the odd way she was talking. What can I say? I am as flawed a human as anyone else.

Anyway...maybe your photo album is an equivalent of that girls text conversation. Pics of stuff that just doesnt fit it with stuff folks share.
